Q. Is ordering with my Debit/Credit card online safe?
A. Yes. Your credit card numbers are encrypted on a secure server and only decrypted prior to processing at our secure terminal. None of your details are held on our website.Q. I don't want to pay online, what alternatives do I have?
A. Our site is secure but we understand you may not wish to pay online. You can pay just as easily and quickly over the phone. We accept all major cards. We can accept cheque payments (goods can only be dispatched once the cheque has cleared). We can also accept Postal Orders and Bank Transfers (details on request) or if preferred we can issue a paypal invoice
Q. What is your privacy policy?
A. Customer information entered on our site is treated in the strictest confidence and at no point is it exposed to a third party. Peninsula plastics adhere to the Data Protection act 1998.
Q. Can I order materials 'Cut-to-size'?
A. Yes. Plastic sheets (Multiwall Polycarbonate, Perspex etc.) can be cut to size free of charge prior to dispatch. We can also cut Roofline products and window trims etc to size free of charge if required. Roofline products can only be cut to size length-ways (for example: A 5m length of fascia board can be supplied cut to 2 x 2m and 1 x 1m pieces) however we do not have the facility to cut Roofline or Trim products width-ways. Simply add your cut size requirements in the additional information field of the checkout page
Q. Can I collect my order?
A. Yes. Simply select 'Collection' from the delivery options in the checkout and your order can be collected at any of our outlets in the North West. At checkout please state in the additional information box where you would like to collect from.
Q. Where do you deliver to?
A. We will deliver anywhere within the UK either on our own fleet of vehicles or via preferred carrier (TNT/Tuffnels). We can ship to the Republic of Ireland and Mainland Europe subject to additional carriage cost. Please email for a quotation.
Q. How long does delivery take and how much does it cost?
A. Most products are ex-stock and are dispatched within 24 hours ensuring that most deliveries are made within 3 days of order. Manufactured products such as uPVC door panels and conservatory roofs take a little longer. Click HERE for a full list of delivery charges and timescales.
Q. How will my order be packaged?
A. It is very rare for a package to arrive damaged. Your order will be protected appropriate to the materials. Most products including 5m lengths of materials will be wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard for protection. Larger items or heavier items may be packed in a case or wooden pallet.
Q. What is your returns policy?
A. Any returns must be agreed with us in writing before they can be accepted. Any damaged or faulty goods must be reported within 7 days and these will be replaced as soon as possible. In the unlikely event of good arriving damaged from one of our own vehicles, please inform the driver immediately (all our drivers are employed by Peninsula Plastics Ltd). The driver will then contact our main office who will inform a representative who will speak to you directly to solve the problem to your satisfaction.
If the order is delivered to you via a courier (TNT/ Tufnells etc) always check the items first before you sign for your receipt of goods. If the goods are damaged, you can refuse delivery and state this on the couriers paperwork. If you have signed for receipt of the goods in good condition but later claim that the goods are damaged because of the courier they will not entertain a retrospective claim. In the case of receiving damaged goods from a courier, inform us immediately and we will sort out the damages claim Goods that are ordered incorrectly that you wish to return will be subject to a 25% handling charge plus the cost of collection. They must be unused and in new condition. We do not accept returns of goods that have been cut to size or manufactured to specific order.
Q. Do you have a minimum order amount?
A. No.
Q. Can I get a sample?
A. Usually yes. We will try and forward a small sample of the required product where possible. Samples of some products are limited however. Click HERE for an online sample request form.
Q. Do your online prices include VAT?
A. Yes. The price you see is the total price you pay. In the checkout section the total will be broken down to show the VAT and carriage element of your order.
Q. Can I get a VAT receipt?
A. Yes. A VAT receipt is sent with all orders

Q. I am a trade customer. Can I get further discount?
A. We believe our online prices are very competitive and our service is second to none. If you are a regular user of our products we can offer you our trade card facility that enables you to get special discounts, continuity of prices and notification of exclusive offers together with loyalty vouchers.
Q. Can I just get a quotation from you Website?
A. Yes. Simply proceed as you would with an order, selecting the items you require, then at the checkout select quote from the payment options. Fill in your details (minus payment details and select print at the foot of the page to print your quote and send us a copy.
