Charity Abseil off Mersey Tunnel ventillation shaft

Financial Director Jan Tilly and her sisters Karen Foster and Linda Hick abseiled down the Mersey Tunnel Ventilation Shaft (167 feet) at Pacific Road, Birkenhead on Saturday, 12th March, 2005 in aid of the Mayor's Special Charity Appeal which supports Wirral Macmillan Cancer Relief, Guide Dogs for the Blind and The Royal British Legion. The trio were supported and sponsored by Peninsula Plastics and Family and friends.

Peninsula Products – Own label launch

Recently added to the companies growing port folio of products is the ‘Peninsula Products’ range of Silicones, adhesives, PU Foam and cleaning products. With their own logo and design the move to provide an own label range alongside existing manufacturers is seen as just how far the company have come over the last few years. A full range of silicones are available from a multi-purpose acytoyl to a premium LMA and neutral cure. In developing the range the company have worked closely with Braven BV of Germany one of the largest silicone compactors in the world. We would welcome enquiries from anyone who wishes to distribute any of the ‘Peninsula products’ range.

Lord Mayor opens new Branch

New Branch major opening

To cope with an ever increasing demand for its products Peninsula Birkenhead recently relocated to a newly built 13,000 sq. ft warehouse. The Lord Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Hilary Jones was on hand to officially open the new Birkenhead HQ on February 4th 2005. Managing Director Neil Tilly commented “ We have a strong programme of growth for each division of the business. This move will enable us manage each section of the business under one roof. Our common goal is and always will be, to provide the Trade and DIY with the highest quality products available at very competitive prices.”
